Found July 11, 2013 on The Awesome Boston:
PLAYERS: Wayne Gretzky
TEAMS: Dallas Stars
A.B. The 8-year old kid in me just ran upstairs, put on his Pavel Bure jersey & windpants, blew on the Sega cartridge and prepared for an assault of endless wrap-around goals on the competition. The 29-year old version of me just took out his credit card and pre-ordered NHL 14. It sucks that you can’t make Wayne Gretzky’s head bleed, according to Kotaku, but at least Gretzky (and Roenick) will be in the game. Interesting side note for Bruins fans – Rich Peverly is featured in the trailer already wearing a Stars jersey. However the Stars in this case are the Minnesota North Stars, not the Dallas Stars. Other jerseys shown include the Mighty Ducks which seems to indicate that even though the rosters will be current – the jerseys will be throwback. #NHL94isBack

Tyler Seguin Happy He Won’t Be ‘Only Single Guy’ on Stars (Video)

Tyler Seguin has his priorities in order. During his introductory news conference with the Dallas media Tuesday, the former Bruins winger’s very first comment to his new group of scribes wasn’t about hockey, but about his marital status. Seguin, who was known to be a socialite here in The Hub (like many other Boston athletes), sounded frustrated that he was the lone “single...

Big year looming for Stars prospect Faksa

FRISCO, Texas -- At this time one year ago, Radek Faksa was going through his first development camp as a member of the Dallas Stars organization. The young center from the Czech Republic had gone 13th overall in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft and was set to begin his professional career. Faksa, 19, spent most of last season with Kitchener of the Ontario Hockey League and despite a knee...

Cam Neely Admits Tyler Seguin’s On- and Off-Ice Performance Both Contributed to Trade Decision

Tyler Seguin‘s problems in Boston extended beyond the rink. His issues ranged farther than just his lack of production this season (particularly in the playoffs) as well as a seeming unwillingness to play a heavier, stronger game. You don’t trade a No. 2 overall pick three years after you drafted him just because of that. We assumed all along that there was much more to it than...

Blues GM plays coy as trade rumors fly

ST. LOUIS -- A confident Doug Armstrong stood with his back to a framed photo of The Great One, then referenced the legend when asked which of his players, if any, would be off-limits in future trades. "Well, Wayne Gretzky got traded," Armstrong said. "I would say everybody is available. Some guys are not likely to be traded, but you would be foolish to say ... if...

Claude Julien Says There ‘Was No Issue’ With Tyler Seguin, Says They Had a Good Relationship

Tyler Seguin isn’t your average 21-year-old but he took his job “as serious as any 21-year-old would,” according to Bruins head coach Claude Julien.  Julien spoke to the media Thursday and answered questions about the recently deported Seguin, who was traded to the Dallas Stars late last week. Rumors have surfaced that the deal was made because the organization had enough...

NHL 94 Anniversary Mode Unveiled for NHL 14

In honor of the 20th Anniversary of the legendary NHL 94 game, NHL 14 has created an Anniversary Game Mode.  The game mode comes complete with all the throwback features, no offsides, no icing, no penalties and blue ice.  They even have teams wearing throwback uniforms, but they have the current rosters and most importantly, Wayne Gretzky and Jeremy Roenick.  My guess is this...
