After what was clearly the best effort of the season on the part of the Edmonton Oilers Thursday night, a 5-1 victory over the Dallas Stars. The same Edmonton Oilers on Friday night, allowed the St. Louis Blues four unanswered goals. This Edmonton Oilers team is still searching for a winning formula. Everything the club did right against the Dallas Stars was not there in the matchup with the St. Louis Blues tonight.Let's face it, the Oilers were lucky to be up 2-0 after the first frame scoring two quick goals extremely late. The Edmonton Oilers have not won more than two games in row all season. The team let what should have been an easy win with the lead slip away  tonight. The game plan for beating the Edmonton Oilers is too simple: play a physical brand of hockey, while limiting the penalties you receive.
