Ottawa Senators Erik Karlsson delivered one of the best skate passes I’ve ever seen in a hockey game. During the opening period of Game 3 between the Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins, Karlsson was pushing into Pittsburgh territory when his stick was knocked away from him. Instead of freaking out, Karlsson continued with the puck underneath his left skate, made a juke move, before completing the pass Kyle Turris who took the shot on goal.     The post Erik Karlsson Delivered An Amazing Skate Pass appeared first on Ride The Pine.

(Video) Brooks Orpik hit on Chris Neil

This is the hit that Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik put on Ottawa Senators forward Chris Neil. There was no penalty called on the play, in my opinion, this was a dangerous hit, but not necessarily dirty, but dangerous. If you're a fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins you probably think this is a good hockey play. If you're a fan of the Senators, you probably wanted...

Travis Yost: On Crosby v. Turris

Make sure to follow Travis on Twitter! -- One of the big things that's going to get lost in the midst of Ottawa's thrilling comeback -- ignited by Daniel Alfredsson's game-tying goal in the dying seconds of regulation, and capped off by Colin Greening in the second overtime -- is that the team remained within striking distance for the entire game, yielding just one...
