One of the early highlights of the Winter Classic was the fight between John Erskine and Mike Rupp. It was a bit reminiscent of Erskine’s bout against Eric Boulton, in the fact that it lasted so long, although less punches ended up landing. I kept the camera snapping throughout the entire skirmish, and figured I’d share a sampling of the still images I captured :
