via Rich Hammond of LA Kings Insider, The Kings and veteran forward Ethan Moreau have agreed to terms on a one-year contract that is likely to be finalized Monday. Moreau, who turns 36 next month, was limited to 37 games last season and spent the bulk of his career in Edmonton, where he served as captain for part of his time with the Oilers. Moreau is known as a gritty defensive player and leader.
[UPDATE: Moreau’s deal with the Kings would be for one year, $600,000.]
