Evgeni Malkin showed off his soccer skills on this play during the Pittsburgh Penguins game 6, 4-3 overtime win over the New York Islanders. It takes a great deal of coordination to head the puck while skating and then corral the puck and dump it into the zone. Malkin also had one of the assists on the game-winning overtime goal scored by Brooks Orpik.

Anybody who thought the Islanders couldn't top the heartbreak of Game Three was proven wrong last night after they were eliminated from the playoffs last night by the Pittsburgh Penguins on the heels of an overtime goal by Brooks Orpik. At first glance it appears that Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jarome Iginla comes in and pokes in the rebound after Sidney Crosby made a few dazzling moves to get the puck to the net. But if you watch the replay closely, New York Islanders defenseman Brian Strait clearly beats Iginla to the puck and then buries it in his own net past Evgeni Nabakov. He was trying to clear the puck...

The power of Christ compels you. The Penguins finally exorcised the demons otherwise known as the New York Islanders after 20 years. David Volek can now be forgotten. The demon has been passed to the side of the Islanders. And it comes in the form of………..Brooks Orpik? Yes. Brooks Orpik. It was the unlikeliest of…
