A female Philadelphia Flyers fan was caught yelling at New Jersey Devils coach Peter DeBoer for blocking her view from the front row of the stands during Tuesday night's NHL playoff game at the Wells Fargo Center.

The woman is seen saying "MOVE!! Really? That's rude! That's really rude!"

So, was DeBoer being considered rude for doing his job? Maybe she was just bitter because the Devils were winning 3-1 in the third period and about to close out the series, knocking the Flyers out of the playoffs.

Holmgren wants Bryzgalov to focus next season

Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren calls his team's season ''decent.'' That's not good enough in Philadelphia. The Flyers cleaned out their lockers on Thursday and said their farewells for the summer. They were eliminated by New Jersey in a five-game series in the Eastern Conference semifinals that ended on Tuesday. Holmgren says he wants to see improvement...

New Flyers, old results in 2011-12 season

Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren's major gamble last summer to reshape the direction of the franchise yielded mixed results. The Flyers won 47 games, totaled 103 points, finished fifth in the Eastern Conference and had a nice six-game postseason series win over odds-on favorite Pittsburgh. But the run lasted only five more games. The Flyers' offense ran out of fuel...

Zach Parise staying with New Jersey Devils?

Moving on to the Eastern Conference Final can only help the New Jersey Devils woo Zach Parise into re-signing for the long-term. Nothing offers stronger evidence of a winning culture/formula than, well, winning. But ESPN.com's Craig Custance suggests the situation is more complex than that. Aside from an aging general manager -- Lou Lamoriello will turn 70 years old in October...

Zac Rinaldo hit on Dainius Zubras

For what ever reason the Philadelphia Flyers were going after Dainius Zubras in this series and last night Flyers littled used forward Zach Rinaldo caught Zubras with this hit in the Flyers end of the ice, in my opinion this was a questionable and a border line hit, some might say that it was dirty. Also, what the heck was Max Talbot doing in this video? Personally, I seen worse...

Seriously?? Flyers’ Season Ends With 3-1 Loss

Kimmo Timonen twirled and dished the puck back, deeper into the Flyers‘ zone to try to shake a pressuring attacker. The puck landed on Ilya Bryzgalov‘s stick and by the time he could look up, David Clarkson was bearing down hot and heavy. With panic in his eyes, Bryzgalov tried to saucer the puck out of harm’s way. It was a Bryzaster. Ultimately, Clarkson’s series-clinching...

Devils End Flyers Season; Move on to Eastern Conference Finals

In only five games the New Jersey Devils defeated the Philadelphia Flyers, propelling them to a date against the Rangers or Capitals in the Eastern Conference Finals. In the series against the Flyers, the Devils shed the “tired and sloppy” look for one that suited them much better against the highly-favored Flyers squad. The Devils relied on a strong defensive prowess to shut...

Devils' Discipline Delivers Series Win for New Jersey, But Style Could Be Loss for Hockey Fans

The Devils are back. God help us all. New Jersey has reached the conference finals for the first time since winning the Cup back in 2003 after closing out Philadelphia 3-1 in Game 5 of their second-round series on Tuesday. This Devils squad bears some resemblance to the New Jersey teams that won three Cups between 1995 and 2003. Martin Brodeur is still in goal. The Devils are still...

BREAKING: Matt Carle and Philadelphia Flyers, Working to Reach Deal

By Dustin Leed (@D_LEED) Some breaking new here this afternoon. I chatted with Flyers defenseman Matt Carle and his agent Kurt Overhardt regarding Carle’s contract negotiations with the Philadelphia Flyers. “There’s no question I want to be here, the past four years have been great and I really feel like Philly has become a second home for my family and me,” Matt Carle said...

So much for that playoff savior thing

The hero folk tale was supposed to begin at the end of Game 5 in the first-round playoff series between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers. After falling behind three games to none, Pittsburgh had rallied to win Game 4 by a final of 10-3, and held on to squeak out a 3-2 victory in Game 5. Philadelphia was losing all the momentum it had built, and Flyers star Claude...

Devils 3, Flyers 1

PHILADELPHIA -- David Clarkson scored the go-ahead goal on a mistake by goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov, Martin Brodeur made 27 saves and the New Jersey Devils eliminated the Philadelphia Flyers with a 3-1 victory in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series Tuesday night. Bryce Salvador and Ilya Kovalchuk also scored for New Jersey, which heads to the conference finals for...

Thoughts on the 2012 Playoff Run

Usually I would sit back and be happy about where the Devils are and believe me I am happy and shocked and a million more emotions because I honestly didn’t think they’d get this far this season. Especially not after missing the playoffs just one year ago but that’s what is great about the parody in the NHL, year to year is different. Just ask Tampa Bay. However, with that...

Bill Meltzer: Meltzer's Musings: Reasons, Rationales and Excuses

In the rubble of what started out as a glorious playoff run, it is tough to focus on what was overall a season of progress for the Philadelphia Flyers. I feel better about the current club heading into the offseason than a year ago. For now, though, what's front and center is the sting of losing four games in a row to New Jersey and actually finishing with a losing record (5...

Fantasy Hockey Playoff ONE (5/9)

There is still a bounce in the step for those fantasy poolies who own players from the New Jersey Devils as the Devils eliminated the Philadelphia Flyers with a 3-1 victory last night.  New Jersey took the series in five games which was a prediction no one saw coming, given the way Philadelphia humbled Pittsburgh in Round 1.  David Clarkson had the game winner...

Todd Cordell: Devils come from behind in 4th straight game, advance to Conference Finals

Last night the Philadelphia Flyers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead striving to avoid elimination, but the New Jersey Devils came from behind in their fourth consecutive game to eventually win the game. Here are some notes on last night's game, and the series. - First off, I'd like to congratulate the Flyers on a great season. I expected them to be better than a lot of...

Season of positives, negatives comes to an abrupt end for Philadelphia Flyers

Photo Courtesy of AP/Yahoo Sports By Charlie O’Connor (@THG_Charlie) Optimist or pessimist? Both personality types had plenty of material to work with during the 2011-12 Philadelphia Flyers regular season. And the postseason was no different. The optimist could point to a team, chock full of rookies, that emerged from a radical roster reconstruction and finished with one more...
