Finland veteran Teemu Selanne has been selected to play at his sixth Winter Olympics.
The 43-year-old Anaheim Ducks player has twice been the top scorer at the Olympics and was chosen as the best player at the Turin Games in 2006.
Another veteran, Saku Koivu, won't be part of the team after telling Finland coach Erkka Westerlund that he doesn't feel in good enough shape to play at the Olympics.
His younger brother Mikku Koivu, was on the squad presented Tuesday, as was Minnesota Wild team mate Mikael Granlund.
Kari Lehtonon of the Dallas Stars, Tuukka Rask of the Boston Bruins, and Antti Niemi of the San Jose Sharks will be Finland's goaltenders in Sochi.
Finland was the bronze medalist at the 2010 Olympics and silver medalist four years earlier.

Finland's Olympic roster is a good mix of old and new, with several players returning from the team that won the bronze medal at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. Among those headed to Sochi is Teemu Selanne, who will make his sixth trip to the Olympics for Finland. According to the IIHF, he will become just the second person to ever do that in ice hockey.

The Ducks' ability to time their goals dramatically Sunday allowed them to extend their unbeaten-in-regulation home winning streak and beat the Vancouver Canucks.
"Those things are what character teams are made of," forward Corey Perry said after slipping a shot under goalie Eddie Lack with 1.3 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Ducks a 4-3 victory.
The Anaheim Ducks remain the NHL's top team and appear almost unbeatable at home. Their latest win was a 5-2 effort over the Boston Bruins that extends their home streak to 18-0-2.
Even scarier than their unbeaten home streak is that their power play has started to click again. Pay no attention to the stat sheet - Anaheim is #22 out of 30 teams with a tepid 16.2% success...

19 games have come and gone at the Honda Center in 2013-14, and all of them have ended with the hometown Anaheim Ducks earning at least one point. Anaheim Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau said he's been impressed that Jonas Hiller has not turned in a "clunker" during the goaltender's club-record win streak.

The Bruins had to have known that they were in for quite the test on Tuesday night against the Anaheim Ducks. Facing arguably the best team in the league in its home rink — where the Ducks haven’t lost in regulation all season — the B’s were likely for looking every advantage they could get.
