The Sharks started strong, especially with Pavelski’s disallowed goal. Even after that disappointment, they bounced back and continued to play hard.

Nicolas Wallin is so bad that I cringe every time he touches the puck. Demers needs more ice time in replace of Wallin and even Kent Huskins at times.

Niemi looks a little shaky early on. Meanwhile Nabby seems composed and looks ready for the challenge tonight.

Todd Mclellan is really mixing our first three lines up. I have seen Heatley, Thornton, and Marleau on a line, and I have seen Healey with Couture and Mitchell. I like the mix up as long as the Sharks can continue to apply pressure on Niemi.

The Sharks look slightly faster after two days off. Chicago still looks very fast.

Mitchell, Couture, Nichol, Boyle, Pavelski, Demers, and Marleau are currently our strongest skaters.

Score after the 1st Period: 0-0
