The Flyers may be just 6-7-1 in 2013, but that doesn't mean they aren't one of the top five franchises in the NHL over the past ten plus seasons.
The graphic above, shown on the NHL Network this morning, shows exactly where the Flyers stand among the great franchises in the league. Their 658 total regular season and playoff wins combined since the '97-'98 season is 5th best in the NHL.
If only they had a Cup to show for it in that span like three of the other teams on the list do. It's still less depressing than the San Jose Sharks, who have never won a Stanley Cup.
