We all wondered what how the new look Flyers would come out of the gates. So far so good. Ilya Bryzgalov once again was stellar, earning the first shutout for the orange and black since May 10 of 2010. The three Flyers goals were scored by Claude Giroux, Matt Read, and Wayne Simmonds. Read's goal was the first of his NHL career.   In typical Flyers/Devils fashion, there was some rough stuff. Simmonds got the best of David Clarkson. Video of the fight after the jump.
