- Flyers defenseman Matt Walker returned to practice Monday. Walker, recovering from hip surgery, returned for the first time without wearing a non-contact jersey. Walker was acquired during the off-season from the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Simon Gagne deal.  Walker’s return helps bolster the blue-line, but also makes it a bit crowded.
