The Orange Update:
The Philadelphia Flyers made a roster move this afternoon and recalled forward Tye McGinn from Adirondack. McGinn, 22, has appeared in 33 games for Adirondack this season posting 11 goals and 15 points. This move is likely because of the […]

Philadelphia Flyers center Zac Rinaldo required 20 stitches in his leg after getting cut by a skate in Sunday's 5-2 loss to Buffalo, according to CSN Philly. He will be examined again before it is determined how long he will be sidelined. "We hope he's not that long out of the lineup," said Flyers coach Peter Laviolette, according to .nhl.com's Anthony SanFilippo...
Not Yet! Flyers fans were all happy to see the end of another ugly and un-fan-friendly strike. Maybe they wish it could have gone on a few days longer. The 2013 NHL regular season is ‘only’ 48 games this season. Every point will be critical if the Flyers want to get back to the playoffs.
Starting off the season 0-2 is not good by any stretch but it is probably not time...
NHLFatigue is going to be a regular issue with the amount of back-to-back games that the Philadelphia Flyers must contend with in a shortened season. So Crossing Broad had this article today about how "Racism is Alive and Well in Pittsburgh," after people that may or may not live Pittsburgh said some bad things about Wayne Simmonds.
First off, to those people who did say that about Wayne Simmonds, you're terrible people.
There is no place for that.
But, the overall tone of the post by CB, and the shocked...
Lotta very unhappy faces among the Flyers coaching and management staff in Buffalo on Sunday afternoon as the Flyers completed a wipeout weekend with consecutive losses.
Five on five, I don't feel the Flyers have played that badly. I also feel if you look at Ilya Bryzgalov's numbers after two games it's not reflected just how good he has played.
I like the fact...
