Wayne Simmonds goes out with an injury, the Flyers fall to 2-6-0, and fans begin to panic. These were the main headlines after the Flyers recent loss to Washington. The Flyers returned home after a terrible week of hockey to take on the Carolina Hurricanes, who entered the game with a 3-3-0 record.   The Flyers offense started out slow but picked it up very quickly. A three-on-one breakaway left Max Talbot and Braydon Coburn with opportunities to knock in a rebound off of a Jakub Voracek shot. Coburn finished the rush by putting it in the net. The goal was also his first of the season. Voracek and Brayden Schenn were rewarded with t...

Bryzgalov Left Helpless as Early Season Stumbles Continue

Categories: BREAKING NEWS Flyers News NHLTags: Ilya BryzgalovThere is no player or personnel in the Philadelphia Flyers’ organization that entered the 2013 NHL season with more pressure on his shoulders than Ilya Bryzgalov. Will The Flyers Make A ‘Big’ Move?

from Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun, The word is the Flyers would like to make "a big move" to shake up their struggling club. That has proved to be difficult in the current environment. Thanks in part to their offensive shortcomings, the Philadelphia Flyers are already enduring their second three-game slide of the season. The Flyers try to snap out of their scoring funk and avoid their first four-game skid in two seasons by continuing their dominance...
