Via Pro Sports Daily:
Joe Sakic still has quite a shot.
The two-time Stanley Cup winner made a $1 million hole-in-one on Sunday at the par-3 17th hole at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship at Lake Tahoe.
Sakic used an 8-iron on the 162-yard waterfront hole to accomplish the feat at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course.
A former league MVP in 2001, Sakic now serves executive adviser/alternate governor for the Colorado Avalanche.
Sakic spent his entire career with the organization, playing his first seven seasons with the Quebec Nordiques before the franchise relocated to Denver.
Sakic retired after the 2008-09 season, finishing his career with 625 goals and 1,016 assists.
