The Nashville Predators hit the road after earning 7 out of a possible 10 points during their 5 game home stand. They begin a double header in Canada tonight with a game against the 5-2-0 Montreal Canadiens. Nashville has been unsuccessful in their limited efforts on the road – they fell 4-2 in St-Louis on their season opener and dropped a 3-1 decision in Colorado. Montreal is 2-1-0 at home. The Canadiens are doing well in the goals for and against departments, ranked 4th place in the league in both categories. They are ranked 7th for Powerplay and 19th for Penalty kill. The Predators are 25th (GF), 17th (GA), 16th (PP) and 25th (PK).  TV/RADIO COVERAGE Nashville: Fox Sports Tennessee and 102.5 The Game Montreal: CBC Hockey night in Canada (en), RDS (fr), English Radio, French Radio Stream (Do not click on any ads because they will download viruses):  http://firstrownow.eu/watch/215461/1/watch-montreal-canadiens-vs-nashville-predators.html Listen Online Season Series This is the first time these teams have played each other this season. It was a nice goal that required some amount of composure: a sitting puck into over a spralled Jonathan quick - the kind that a lot of Predators may haeve missed. The goal is his third point of the season - but more than that he is starting to look a lot better next to linemates Bourque and Smith.   Montreal: #76, D, P.K. Subban - Leading the team in points and assists, Subban is a (very) early thought for the Norris Trophy. The Defenseman is averaging 24 minutes of ice time a night and has 2 goals, 8 assists to show for it. Subban is also an eager contributor to the powerplay, with five of his points coming on the man advantage. Subban's goals are generally a bit more finess than the howitzer's that Weber will score. Look for him to sneak into the high slot for a shooting opportunity. Subban leads the league for defenseman in points and assists and is tied for goals. He is tied for third overall in points and second overall for assists. Who scores the first goal of the game for Predators? Win a Preds player t-shirt, info here.
