John Vogl of the Buffalo News reports that injured centre/winger, Jochen Hecht, missed today's skate for what is being termed a "not scheduled".
Hmmmm.
This begs the question:
Has Hecht suffered yet another concussion setback?

The Sabres (6-3-0) righted the ship and snapped a two-game losing streak by defeating the Columbus Blue Jackets (1-8-1) in Buffalo on Thursday night. I've been to a pair of Sabres games this year and they lost both of them, 4-3. I'm planning to make my return on Wednesday against Philadelphia.

4-2 loss in Buffalo comes down to special teams. While the hapless Blue Jackets went a horrid (even for them) 0 of 6, the Sabres went 2 for 3. Conveniently, the margin of victory. Columbus is an unworldly 10% with the man advantage on the season. Despite peppering Ryan Miller's stand-in for 43 shots, the team just cannot score on consistent basis. Jeff Carter is still out. What a mess.
