Found June 13, 2013 on Puck Drunk Love:
The biggest hit from Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals was an accident. Milan Lucic skated across the blue line, completely unaware that Jaromir Jagr was about to cut and head his direction. The two Bruins had a huge collision which sent both men sprawling. To make matters worse, Chicago's Brandon Saad was unable to avoid the traffic jam and ran into the back of Lucic. The result was an odd, yet strangely hilarious, three-man pileup.  What a hit. If Lucic's hit was on an opponent you might hear cries for some sort of discipline due to his arm being elevated. Instead, Jagr was on the receiving end of an unexpected punch to the face courtesy of his teammate.  Thanks to Josh Gold-Smith for this lovely (and painful) GIF.  [follow]

Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic checks in at 6’4″ 220 lbs and Jaromir Jagr checks in at 6’4″ 240 lbs.  That is a pair of big men and early in the 2nd overtime of Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals they were both caught looking at something other than the ice in front of them and collided in this major collision.  Lucky for the Bruins, neither player was injured on the play...

Jaromir Jagr dyes already-unique playoff beard, now rocking jet-black look (photo)

It has been 21 long years since Jaromir Jag last hoisted Lord Stanley’s Cup. You have to go all the way back to 1991 and 1992 when Jagr was just a young pup on a Pittsburgh Penguins team that won two Stanley Cups in a row. But now, after being traded to the Boston Bruins [...]The post Jaromir Jagr dyes already-unique playoff beard, now rocking jet-black look (photo) appeared first...

Jagr’s long-flowing mullet became a staple for a player who evolved into a larger-than-life figure who is one of the best players of all time. It also makes for some awesome photos. Jagr’s...

Jaromir Jagr’s Goal Against Blackhawks in 1992 Cup Final Remembered 21 Years Later (Video)

Jaromir Jagr has scored, if you count the playoffs as well, 759 goals in his NHL career. Of all of those scores, one against the Chicago Blackhawks is among the very best. Jagr is back in the Stanley Cup Final 21 years after he and the Penguins swept the Blackhawks in 1992. This time, however, Jagr will look to hoist the Cup with the Bruins. Despite the two-decade layoff from the...

Bruins-Blackhawks: Looch Destroys The Jagr & His Beautiful Playoff Beard (GIF)

(GIF: GoldandorSmith) The Bruins endured a tough loss to the Chicago in triple overtime in Game One of the Stanley Cup Final. Milan Lucic did have a great game however. He netted two goals and destroyed a Jagr. Looch collided with Jaromir Jagr and destroyed the Jagr’s beautifully dyed playoff beard. But the Jagr goes down like no one else, just ask the ladies.   Pot Of Baked...

Milan Lucic scored late in the first period and the Boston Bruins took a 1-0 lead over the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals on Wednesday. Boston Bruins score first goal on Game 1 on sick tic-tac-toe play

The Boston Bruins first line of David Krejci, Nathan Horton and Milan Lucic has been terrorizing opponents all postseason.  With six minutes left in the first period, the line was back at it again with this fantastic tic-tac-toe play.  It was absolutely textbook and the Chicago Blackhawks were caught running around after Hawks defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson went for the huge hit...

Blackhawks Take Game One In Triple Overtime Thriller

The Chicago Blakchawks took game one, and it took three extra overtimes to do it As I sit here writing this recap, you can probably assume that I exhausted after watching game one, and I would say that you were correct. In what was possibly one of the best Stanley Cup finals games ever (and longest), The Blackhawks took a one game lead over the Boston Bruins with a heartbreaking...

Lord Stanley Game One

Just a few things that caught my eye: I almost went to bed after the third Boston goal. What a mistake that would have been, eh?! Cue the comeback. Marian Hossa will do anything to win. He, Milan Lucic and Tuukka Rask were the best players on the ice through two OTs. Zdeno Chara was working his suffocating magic on Jonathan Toews all night long. Funny...
