Yeah, I said it, we may have a goalie controversy in St. Louis.  Jaroslav Halak, the projected savior of the twine for the Blues, has not lived up to his billing.  Could so many people who know what they are talking about be wrong about his talent?  I think the answer to that question is no.  Halak's ability is not in question, it is just that the learning curve for an NHL goalie is so steep, it takes time for many goalies to catch up.  Carey Price is a good example.  Very highy touted, he struggled for years before he proved his worth last season by willing the Habs into the playoffs.  I think I similar situation exists with Halak.  That being said, Jaro's stats are ugly in this young season (3.47 GAA, .835 save %), in fact it looks like I was in net not Halak.  They will get better, however the Blues may have no choice but to let veteran backup Brian Elliot play more while Halak finds his feet.  In limited play, Elliot has just as many wins as Halak (1) with a 2.26 GAA and...
