In the first four hours of free agency, the Nashville Predators have been quiet and have seen three players head for greener pastures. Marcel Goc, Steve Sullivan and Joel Ward have signed with the Panthers, Penguins and Capitals, respectively.Goc heads to the Florida Panthers on a three-year, $5.1 million deal ($1.7M average). He was someone that GM David Poile hoped to re-sign today, but obviously wasn’t able to get something done. Poile may not have been willing to give Goc the term he got from Florida.Sullivan was scooped by the Pittsburgh Penguins on a one-year, $1.5 million deal. After the Pens missed out on Jaromir Jagr, they turned their attention to a cheaper option in Sully, who will be reunited with GM Ray Shero.
