Cody McCormick will not be back with the Avalanche. He was not given a qualifying offer by the Avalanche, to retain his rights, so he becomes an unrestricted free agent Wednesday. Cody was/is a good kid who always worked hard for the Avs. Let’s wish him the best, Av-Aholics.
