The Flyers day ended with a bang, but certainly didn't start with one.  General Manager Paul Holmgren told the media on Thursday that Scott Hartnell will be out at least 4-8 weeks with a broken bone in his foot.  Hartnell was listed as out indefinitely, but after being re-evaluated, his timetable is at least a month. To fill the void, for now at least, the Flyers have reached back in the past.  During Thursday's game the club has announced that Mike Knuble will sign with the Flyers, pending a physical. Knuble was a fan favorite and is a solid veteran leader, with a strong net presence. Knuble was previously playing with the AHL's Grand Rapids, Detroit Red Wings minor league team.  He played just one game, registering one assist. If and when he passes the physical, he can be in the lineup o Saturday night vs the Florida Panthers.
