Henrik Lundqvist shows off his goaltending talents comes game time, but off-the-ice, he’s often singled out for his sartorial skills. The New York Ranger has received high praise for his sense of style, landing on countless best-dressed lists. It’s only fitting that the hockey star would try his hand at clothing design.
Lundqvist first debuted his “Crown Collection” of apparel last season. He’s been dubbed “The King” in the hockey world, a theme that extends to the apparel. Pieces feature a crown logo with his number thirty in the center. The line has now expanded beyond the original offerings of a t-shirt and baseball cap. Among the featured styles in the new “Crown Collection” are a fitted jacket, hooded sweatshirt, fitted cap and knit scarf. The items will once again benefit the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
“After the success of last year’s Crown Collection I couldn’t be more excited for fans to see the new pieces this season,” said Lundqvist. “It was such a great way to connect with fans as well as raise money for The Garden of Dreams Foundation. The amazing work that Garden of Dreams does for underprivileged kids is so important to me, I’m really proud that Crown Collection can contribute to such a great cause.”
Items are available for purchase at retail stores at Madison Square Garden. Here’s a preview:
