It took four stabs, but New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist has finally been crowned the best goalie in the National Hockey League by winning the 2011-12 Vezina Trophy.
At age 30, Lundqvist led his Broadway Blueshirts to a 51-24-7 record which placed them first in the Eastern Conference and second in the entire League during this past season. After 62 games played, Henrik finished with a remarkable goals against average of 1.97 and a save percentage of .930 - the best duo of numbers he has ever put up as a goaltender in the NHL.
