Henrik Lundqvist will sport a modest looking mask for the Winter Classic on Jan. 2 in Philadlephia.

The mask, as usual for Lundqvist, will reflect a New York Rangers theme, and not so much of the man behind the mask.

Dave Hutchison of InGoal magazine released pictures of the mask, painted by DaveArt’s Dave Gunnarsson.

On the side, it’s the Rangers’ third logo of the Empire State Building head, and on the front, it’s the throwback logo used on the sweaters for the Winter Classic.

Here’s the photos:

What The Hell Happened to the Broadway Hat?

Henrik Lundqvist was the first Rangers player to don the Broadway Hat as well as the most recent. Not sure what's happened to that thing in between but it's struggling...October 18th...December 20th.....what the heck happened to the brim of that thing? They need to stop washing it....when Hank went to put that on Tuesday night it barely fit him.Remember to follow me on Twitter...

Postgame: Lundqvist, Gaborik Lead Rangers Past Devils

The Rangers got rivalry week started off right with a 4-1 defeat of the New Jersey Devils tonight at the Prudential Center. This wasn’t a perfect effort for the Rangers by any means, but an explosive third period, which saw the team score three unanswered goals, carried them to victory in the first meeting with their cross-river rivals this season.  Mike Rupp and Cam Janssen...

Rangers, Lundqvist stymie Devils — again

All this time, yet the tide in the Battle of the Hudson still flows full flood toward Manhattan. Again, it was Henrik Lundqvist keeping the Rangers boat afloat, while Martin Brodeur’s ship ultimately swamped. It was a night of maximum efforts, attacks that created chaos, shots that rang pipe...

Fit For A King – Rangers @ Devils (or Devils @ Rangers depending on how you look at it) Post Game Thoughts…

For all the praise being heaped on fill ins like Bickel, Erixon, and Stralman. For all the kudos being thrown at the Rangers and what a great job they do backchecking, blocking shots, getting in passing lanes, etc. The cold hard truth is this. This team will only go as far as Henrik Lundqvist will take them. Tonight, he took them to a 4-1 win that is a very, very deceiving score...

Another Rivalry Game for the Blueshirts

It seems to be rivalry week for the New York Rangers as they get set to take on the New York Islanders tonight at Madison Square Garden. The Blueshirts are coming off an impressive 4-1 win over the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night at the Prudential Center. In that game, the team got strong performances from goaltender Henrik Lundqvist (30 saves), Marian Gaborik (2 goals and 1...
