I get a weird feeling when I think about a member of the Detroit Red Wings winning any kind of personal hardware. Unless it's Pavel Datsyuk winning the Selke. For some reason that just feels right. However in this shortened season, I don't think any other player has been more important to his team then Henrik Zetterberg has been.

Z has stepped into the impossibly too large to fill skates of Nicklas Lidstrom and Steve Yzerman, and filled them admirably thus far. It's usually lack of scoring prowess that prevents Detroit's vaunted forwards from taking home trophies, but so far Zetterberg has been filling the stat sheet with Don't-Stop-Belevin'-Getting-Overplayed-at-your-favorite-local-college-bar-type frequency.
