Jamie Benn had one of the most memorable fights of the 2012-13 season when he battled Joe Thornton. Though that fight will be almost impossible to top, Benn returns this week at the top spot after a nice scrap with Anaheim's Francois Beauchemin. Where does Benn's teammate Antoine Roussel rank on this week's list after his fight with Matt Irwin? 5. Robert Bortuzzo (PIT) vs Kris Newbury (PHI) - Oct 17 There are fights and then there are beatings. Give Newbury credit for stepping up against a much larger opponent, but it's safe to say he probably immediately regretted his decision to drop the gloves.  4. Drew Miller (DET) vs Cory Sarich (COL) - Oct 17 Speaking of beatings, here Miller has his clock cleaned by Sarich. When you add in the fact Miller's hair has streaks of gray, it almost looks like Sarich is picking on an old man. Kind of a bizarre and uncomfortable sight.  3. Clayton Stoner (MIN) vs Cody McCormick (BUF) - Oct 14 After two extremely lopsided fights, Stoner and McCormick provide a fairly balanced brawl. Stoner appeared to miss with the majority of his punches, so we're forced to give the "W" to McCormick. Bonus points for the gator takedown.  2. Matt Irwin (SJ) vs Antoine Roussel (DAL) - Oct 17 Back to the beatings. Despite starting the fight with an arm wrapped around his neck, Roussel dominates his scuffle with Irwin. Irwin is the more inexperience fighter and it shows as he is completely overwhelmed by Roussel's flurry of punches.  1. Jamie Benn (DAL) vs Francois Beauchemin (ANA) - Oct 20 Benn's dispute with Beauchemin lacks the excitement and buildup that we saw in his bout with Thornton last year (thanks new NHL helmet rules!), but this one is still a lot of fun to watch. So far the Benn-Beauchemin fight looks like a fit for our end of the year top-15 list, but a lot can change over the next few months.  Previous installments: October 1 - October 6 October 7 - October 13 The 15 best hockey fights from 2012-13.  A big "Thank you" to Hockey Fights, our #1 resource for hockey fight videos.
