If you're a regular Hockey Fights of the Week reader, you may feel like this season has gotten off to a slow start. There's been some memorable bouts, but each week seems to feature at least one scrap which might leave a little bit to be desired. A few made the cut simply because there weren't too many fights to choose from.  This week is a different story as it was difficult narrowing the list down to just five.  5. Luke Gazdic (EDM) vs Jay Rosehill (PHI) - Nov 9 This fight was vicious. Rosehill takes a season's worth of anger and frustration out on Gazdic. As the two spin around the ice, Rosehill pummels Gazdic before wrapping his arm around the Edmonton forward's neck and holding him over the boards.  The Philadelphia Flyers haven't had much to celebrate this season, but they certainly know how to hold their own when the mitts go flying.  4. Deryk Engelland (PIT) vs Ryan Reaves (STL) - Nov 9 A fight off of the opening draw between two teams with almost no recent history is kind of puzzling. However, Reaves and Engelland treated fans who had just settled into their seats with a lengthy altercation. Nice pat of respect between the two gentlemen at the end.  3. Ryan Reaves (STL) vs George Parros (MON) - Nov 5 Reaves makes a second appearance on this week's list as he battles Parros. This time Reaves is on the losing end of the bout, proving that Parros still has his fighting powers despite shaving his moustache. Credit to the St. Louis forward for two incredible fights in the span of just four days. 2. Frazer McLaren (TOR) vs Adam McQuaid (BOS) - Nov 9 McLaren may need to work on his aim. He threw plenty of punches, but very few actually found the mark. McQuaid was brilliant in this fight, patiently dodging and ducking around McLaren's punches before meticulously throwing a few of his own.  1. Brian McGrattan (CGY) vs Patrick Bordeleau (COL) - Nov 8 This might be the best fight of the young season. We won't even try to pick a winner between McGrattan and Bordeleau (edge to McGrattan, maybe).
