Welcome to one of the final installments of Hockey Fights of the Week for the 2013 season. When the regular season wraps, so too will this column as fights in the playoffs are unfortunately too few and far between to warrant a weekly top-5 countdown.  That being said, we still have plenty of hockey fight coverage for you. As soon as the year concludes, we'll roll out an article highlighting the best fights of the season, a list composed of all the fights that earned the top spot from one of our many countdowns. We'll still cover any memorable fights that occur during the battle for the Cup, but they may be in a slightly different format. 5. Douglas Murray (PIT) vs. B.J. Crombeen (TB) - April 11 In earlier installments of Hockey Fights of the Week we highlighted acts of great sportsmanship. Whether it's calling for a trainer or two guys agreeing to lose their lid, numerous hockey fighters abide by the unwritten rules of the game. Crombeen must have missed that memo as he elected to keep his helmet on despite his opponent, Murray, tossing his aside. We give Murray the win not only for following those unwritten rules, but also for the beating he gives Crombeen.  4. Jared Boll (CBJ) vs. Clayton Stoner (MIN) - April 13 There are lopsided fights and then there's this Boll-Stoner tilt where only one man landed any punches. In fact, Stoner appears to only throw one punch while accepting numerous blows from Boll to the head. There are a lot of ways to pump up a crowd by taking a beating probably isn't one of them.  3. Oliver Lauridsen (PHI) vs. Patrick Kaleta (BUF) - April 13 Want to see another one-sided fight? Of course you do. Lauridsen appeared to be asking for a fight and Kaleta obliged. It became clear almost immediately that Lauridsen bit off more than he could chew. 2. Antoine Roussel (DAL) vs. Rich Clune (NSH) - April 12 The Roussel-Clune fight lasted just a few seconds, but both fighters were able to get off a flurry of punches before Clune ultimately fell to the ice. The announcers sure loved this one.  1. Brandon Prust (MON) vs. Frazer McLaren (TOR) - April 13 Credit to Prust for taking on a much larger opponent in McLaren. Despite the size disadvantage, Prust holds his own in a fight that features both men spilling to the ice before finding their footing to continue the scrap. It's tough to pick a winner in this lengthy bout, but we give Prust the edge for standing toe-to-toe with the intimidating McLaren.  Previous installments: April 1 - April 7 March 25 - March 31 March 18 - March 24 March 11 - March 17 March 4 - March 10 February 25 - March 3 February 18 - February 24 February 11 - February 17 February 4 - February 10 January 28 - February 3 January 21- January 27 A big "Thank you" to Hockey Fights, our #1 resource for hockey fight videos.
