Tampa Bay Lighting forward Steven Stamkos and P.K. Subban of the Montreal Canadiens will lead teams of locked-out NHL players during a charity game next week at the former Maple Leaf Gardens. The game will be held next Wednesday at Ryerson University's new Mattamy Athletic Centre, located inside the building the Toronto Maple Leafs called home from 1931-99. The proceeds will benefit the NHL Players' Association's Goals & Dreams fund and RBC's Play Hockey initiative. ''A great opportunity to share the joy and excitement of hockey with our fans,'' Stamkos said in a statement released Wednesday. ''I'm looking forward to playing alongside this impressive lineup of fellow NHL players while helping to raise funds to benefit local hockey programs across the country.''
