Flyers defenseman Chris Pronger will be sidelined indefinitely with concussion-like symptoms.
Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren says Pronger has complained of a fairly persistent headache and sluggish feeling over the last few days. Pronger will visit with two concussions specialists Wednesday in Pittsburgh.

I am convinced Chris Pronger's concussion symptoms are the direct result of his eye injury earlier this fall with latent post-concussion syndrome effects.
It can happen.
I feel it is prudent for the Flyers to proceed at this point as if Pronger were NOT coming back this season.
I spoke to some people today and the Flyers are going to wait on this unless something develops...

The Flyers to continue the outdo themselves when it comes to being up front with their injuries. Their long-term captain, who is signed until age 42 with little recourse, has gone from having a virus, to knee scoping, to concussion-like symptoms. Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren tried to put on a brave face on Saturday night.
He said that Claude Giroux was "okay" but his body language seemed to be saying, "We're really hoping that he doesn't have a concussion but we don't know."
It will be days before Giroux is really out of danger. Then again, as we've seen with Chris Pronger...
