Preview: Coyotes at Red Wings
After ending a road trip with one of their worst performances of the season, the Detroit Red Wings should be happy to return home, where they haven't lost in over two months.
Getting leading scorer Pavel Datsyuk back in the lineup would also make them feel a whole lot better.

Henrik Zetterberg did his best Peter Forsberg impression Thursday night as the Detroit Red Wings topped the Phoenix Coyotes 3-2 in a shootout.
With the shootout score even at one apiece following an early goal from All-Star Pavel Datsyuk and then two key saves from All-Star Jimmy Howard. Zetterberg carried the puck into the zone, sent it right...

Zetterberg Pulls a Forsberg, Wings Win In Shootout
All of a sudden, the Wings seem like they might not be so bad at this shootout thing. Henrik Zetterberg was the 4th shooter of the night, but he buried his opportunity with an ode to fellow countryman Peter Forsberg with this move.
And here's proof that I know what I'm talking about (complete with crazy Swedish announcer guys).

Red Wings-Islanders wrap-up and overnight report: let’s hope we don’t meet again
The Detroit Red Wings skated into what was a potentially dangerous game against the New York Islanders saying all the right things about continuing to right their road record, get “started on time” and not surrender multiple-goal leads before showing up to play, but instead of following through on their plan, the Pavel Datsyuk-less Wings headed back to Detroit with a...
Jersey Watch: Chicago Blackhawks Detroit Sucks
This Chicago Blackhawks fan, who probably owns stone washed jeans, does not like Detroit. What’s impressive is that he actually shelled out the money to make this custom jersey considering he is wearing an AT&T sponsored hat (which he probably got with his bundle). You stay classy Blackhawks fan!
Special thanks to Hulkamaniac Greg Hunter for spotting this gem.
Red Wings-Islanders quick take: no excuses for an ‘excuse game’
The Detroit Red Wings had the excuses lined up before tonight’s 5-1 loss to the New York Islanders, whose pedigree is apparently greater than that of the playoff-bound Maple Leafs and Blackhawks because they can withstand Detroit’s attempts to rally from multiple-goal deficits without blinking an eyelash.
The Fathers’ Trip was over. The Wings were coming off the...
