Hornqvist battled inconsistencies all year and went silent in crunch-time during the playoffs. The 24-year-old Swede noted he was frustrated by a season in which he took a step back from his 30-goal breakout campaign in 2009-10.“The year before when I scored 30,” Hornqvist explained, “it felt like everything went in and every time I was in front of the net, the puck bounced on my stick and I got chances.
