from Lisa Halverstadt of the Arizona Republic, Glendale has posted draft agreements with a potential Phoenix Coyotes buyer on the city website…. The agreement would have Glendale pay roughly $300 million in arena management fees to a group led by former San Jose Sharks chief executive Greg Jamison and another $24 million in capital funding over the course of the 20-year deal. During the course of the agreement, Glendale would likely receive more than $14 million in rent and millions of dollars more from surcharges on each ticket. The draft agreements also call for Jamison’s group to attempt to change the National Hockey League team’s name to the Arizona Coyotes. a bit more...

Looking Ahead

Overall the Coyotes had a great season; I'm not going to lie and say the ending wasn't disappointing but I'm not going to dwell on it either.Looking back, this is the best season since I moved to Phoenix in 2006 (prior to that I was a Flyers fan, in case you were unaware).
