Carolina Hurricanes veteran left wing Cory Stillman officially announced his retirement on Saturday.
A two-time Stanley Cup winner, Stillman has made plans to join the front office of the Florida Panthers as a member of their player development staff. He'll assist player development director Brian Skrudland with monitoring the prospects.
Stillman, 37, collected 278 goals, 449 assists and 489 penalty minutes in 16 seasons with the Calgary Flames, St. Louis Blues, Tampa Bay Lightning, Carolina, Ottawa Senators and Florida.
