There were three situations on Tuesday night involving National Hockey League goaltenders and poor, borderline terrible decisions by the on-ice officials. Olli Jokinen then shoves his own goaltender, knocking him off-balance. Justin Braun scored moments later … and the goal was waived off due to "goalie interference." What a joke. The Hockey Gods gave the Sharks justice, as they won in the shootout. Via CSN Bay Area, Sharks Coach Todd McLellan: "First of all, they have a tough job to do. Let me start with the good stuff. Howard Berger: It's Optimus Reim or Bust

TORONTO (Jan. 17) – Here is a word to the wise, and an encouraging one, for fans of the Maple Leafs: Do not give up on James Reimer. A venomous amalgam of second-year malaise; a debilitating head...

Carolina Hurricanes vs. Pittsburgh Penguins 1/17/12 Scoring Chances

The main thing I talked about in the preview was how Cam Ward is showing signs of his usual self and that the Canes should see more wins as a result even if they continue to be outshot night in and night out. Tonight's game seemed to fit that prediction well as the Canes were outshot 37-22 at even strength and outchanced 20-13, but were able to pick up a point in a 2-1 shootout...

the best date of your life

If you were like me, this game was a hot date at work with Hot Fudge Sundae Pop Tarts and some Schweppes. But, if you were like the Penguins, it was an all-inclusive date to the ******* Olive Garden. Senators-Maple Leafs Preview

The Ottawa Senators are one of the NHL's top-scoring teams, but were shut out for the first time this season in their last game. They could have a good chance of getting back on track in the opener of a six-game road trip in Toronto. The Senators try to bounce back from their first regulation loss in three weeks Tuesday night when they face Maple Leafs backup goaltender James...
