During the first episode we get a glimpse of Alex Galchenyuk’s beautiful, vintage CCM Pullover. And I mean this thing is just downright gorgeous. With the market for nostalgic gear absolutely booming, Galchenyuk’s piece may be the envy of every hockey player everywhere. Smart money is that this was not an eBay purchase, but that this beauty belonged to Glachenyuk’s dad, who was a journeyman pro in both Europe and North America. I don’t know how many of you watch 24CH – a “24/7 style” behind the scenes look at the Montreal Canadiens’ 2012 (lol)-2013 Season – but it’s damn good. Like, HBO good, except it stars the friggin’ Canadiens and the hockey mad city of Montreal. So watch it. Its been airing on NHL Network or you can watch on YouTube. Montreal Canadiens 2013-14 Season Preview: Coming Back To Earth

The 2012-13 Montreal Canadiens went from worst to first, but after a relatively quiet offseason the odds are that the 2013-14 squad will regress towards the mean. When we last saw the bleu, blanc, et rogue of Montreal, they were getting manhandled out of the first round of the playoffs by a more physical Ottawa Senators team. Still, the 2012-13 season had to be considered a rousing...

Canadiens look to bounce back after early exit

As Montreal embarks on a season laced with expectations, most around the NHL are confused by just what this bunch is. Are the Canadiens the team that won 13 of their first 20 games on their way to the franchise's 22nd division title last season, and first since 2007-08? Or are they the team that lost six of their last 10 regular-season games and were eliminated from the playoffs...

Canadiens’ Ryan White scores winner against Devils

The skinny: Ryan White deflected Jarred Tinordi’s shot from the point at 16:08 of the third period to give the Canadiens a 3-2 win over the New Jersey Devils Monday night at the Bell Centre. The Canadiens used a veteran-laden lineup and received strong performances from Max Pacioretty (two goals) P.K. Subban (two assists) and Carey Price (19 saves). Mr. Pac-Man: Pacioretty opened...
