When one sees these comparisons it is quit interesting how a role player has an effect on their team. But you could also add in there that Brett Lebda has only recorded 1 point over the 22 games he has played this season. Now the Toronto Maple Leafs are no Detroit Red Wings,
but if the same comparison was done when Brett Lebda was playing in Detroit I am sure those numbers would be a bit more appealing. I think young players like Carl Gunnarsson or Keith Aulie would be the better choice to play more consecutive games for the remainder of the season.
