Unfortunately, that is all that can be said when it comes to waived New York Rangers’ forward Sean Avery, who was waived by the team. The writing has been on the wall for awhile when it comes to Avery. It is/was apparent that head coach John Tortorella and the Rangers’ pest did not get along. Last season, Avery found himself scratched several times and that was also the case this preseason as well. Tortorella even went as far to say that there are better hockey players on the club than Avery at the current time so it was obvious that this was going to happen whether fans liked it or not.
