ST. LOUIS -- Eric Staal, as much as anyone, knows what Anthony Stewart has in store for him tonight.
"Whether you show it or not, it's going to be a little emotional," Staal said.
Stewart will be in an NHL game for the first time with his younger brother, forward Chris Stewart of the St. Louis Blues. Circumstances have prevented it from happening before -- Chris was injured one time, Anthony was a healthy scratch another time -- but the long-awaiting moment will come tonight.
"It should be exciting," Anthony Stewart said today after the Canes' morning skate at Scottrade Center. "There's been a bit of a ribbing going back and forth."
But Staal noted talking about it, and actually being on the ice with your brother, is a different animal. For him, the first time playing against a brother in the NHL was going up against Jordan when Jordan first broke in with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
