Some of you are probably wondering.... What in the hell is that?
Well THAT is what you see when you've had too many of these bad boys:
Courage Beer... It's what your right arm is for! Seriously, that was their slogan. You can't make this stuff up!
As for the game, the Dallas Stars used both arms and pretty much wrapped up the Jackets in this one. Especially in that 3rd period.
1. The Jackets were absolutely pounded in the first period by the Stars. They were lucky to get out of there only down 2-0. Then early in the 2nd the Stars made it 3-0. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought -- GAME. OVER. But the Jackets pushed back in the 2nd and actually took advantage of some PPs to close the gap to one. At that point I'm sure I'm not the only who thought. WE HAVE A GAME. After that 2nd period though the Stars showed us how you close out a game and pretty much suffocated the Jackets into their 33rd loss of the season.

STARS NEED TO CHOOSE A DIRECTION
So here we are again – the trade deadline is looming and the Stars are right in the mix for the last playoff spot in the West, just on the outs. The difference this year is that the veteran players are exactly one year older and unless a miracle happens in the next few months, the window of opportunity for those veterans to win with the Stars, as well as for the Stars to win...

Dallas 4 - Columbus 2
Nothing like a game against the worst team in the league to give a small boost to the confidence. The Stars got off to a quick start last night, getting goals from Jamie Benn and Alex Goligoski in the first five minutes, to help boost them to a win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. After that quick start, Dallas kinda bogged down and had to count to Kari...

Dallas 1 - Phoenix 4
There are a lot of ways to react to a loss like the one that Dallas had last night: Anger, embarrassment, indignation, pity, sadness but I felt only one thing, apathy. I just couldn't get angry over how poorly the Stars played in one of the most critical games of the season because that's what the Stars have become this year. They are a team that...

Bill Meltzer: Stars Gameday: 2/10/12 @ Sabres
PREVIEW 12:15 AM CST
The Dallas Stars (28-23-2) have struggled mightily this season in the second half of games on back-to-back nights. To date, they are 0-8-1 in such games, and many of the losses have been of the blowout variety.
Dallas needs to bring that trend to an immediate halt tonight when they travel to Buffalo to take on the Sabres (23-24-6). The game starts at...
