The Kings beat the Caps 5-2 at Staples Center Monday night, but the real highlight came in the second period when defenseman Jack Johnson Tebowed after scoring his sixth goal of the season. Here’s a video of Johnson’s goal and celebration, along with an explanation of why he decided to Tebow:
So Johnson’s friends told him to Tebow if he scored, and he delivered. The best line came from coach Darryl Sutter, who said “If we could all play like Tebow in a big game, we wouldn’t have lost a game yet.”
We’ve now seen Tebowing hit the ice and soccer field, in addition to the womb. You gotta love it.
