Pittsburgh Penguins winger James Neal has finally been added to the roster for the 2012 NHL All-Star game. Neal will replace Alex Ovechkin, who will skip the game in response to being suspended three games by the league for an illegal hit on Zbynek Michalek on Sunday. Neal will join teammates Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang this weekend. He currently ranks second in the NHL with 27 goals, 13th with 47 points and leads the league in shots on goal and power play goals. It’s a shame it took this many injuries and protests for Neal to finally be added to the roster, but the 24-year-old will likely enjoy his All-Star debut. Follow Troy on Twitter @TroyPfaff
