Jaromir Jagr knows a thing or two about getting acclimated to a new sweater with new colors and a new name on the front.
Wednesday marked the start of training camp across the league, and since the first day means off-ice activities, NHLers had a full plate of conditioning and photo-taking. For Jagr, it was a chance to get to know his new digs and throw on his new threads after joining his seventh NHL team, the Devils.
This one looks a little weirder than most, though, especially given the fact that Jagr has played so many games against New Jersey over the years. In fact, Jagr has played 99 career games as an opponent of the Devils, the most games he’s played against any other team in his career.
