Andrew Ladd scored the go-ahead goal in the second period and the Winnipeg Jets won their first home game of the season, beating the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-2.
Evander Kane, Dustin Byfuglien and Blake Wheeler, with a late empty-net goal, also scored for the Jets.
It didn't start that well for Winnipeg after Sidney Crosby put on a scoring clinic in the first with two goals to give Pittsburgh a 2-0 lead.
But it was all Jets in the second, as Kane scored early, Byfuglien tied it just over 10 minutes later and Ladd then put the Jets ahead for good.
Crosby got things started for the Penguins just 4:26 in, when he raised one past Ondrej Pavelec's right shoulder on the short side that grazed the post and slipped into the net.
A little more than 10 minutes later, Crosby skated in front of the net and finessed a soft backhander past Pavelec and Byfuglien before either appeared to know what happened. It was Crosby's third goal of the early season.
In the second, Kane took a pass from Wheeler and Byfuglien right in front of Tomas Vokoun and scored.
Byfuglien evened things up as he slammed one in from the blue line, taking advantage of a holding penalty against Evgeni Malkin.
Ladd then put the Jets ahead for good from the right faceoff circle on a quick pass from linemate Bryan Little at 17:54.

It'd be nice to talk about what Evander Kane is doing on the ice this season, but the Winnipeg Jet keeps on giving us stories to talk about away from the rink. People freaked out about him not reporting to training camp early. Then there's the infamous "phone" brick of cash photo that he Tweeted out during the heart of the lockout. Now Kane gives us more to talk...
Winnipeg Jets winger Evander Kane is a big Lil Wayne fan. Anyone who follows him on Twitter is aware of that, since he often tweets lines from Weezy’s songs. Last season, he seemed to use Lil Wayne lines to respond to criticism he was hearing from Winnipeg fans and the media when he was in the middle of a goal drought.
On Friday, Kane shared a few photos of his new haircut on Twitter...
Winnipeg Jets superstar Evander Kane has had a solid start to this truncated NHL season: 1 goal and 1 assist. But that likely hasn’t spared him from being placed under the microscope by the Winnipeg press. Kane is so heavily scrutinized by the Winnipeg media prominent national hockey writers like Greg Wyshynski at Puck Daddy, among others, have addressed it.
And while Kane tweeting...
Evander Kane of the Winnipeg Jets is a left winger who apparently is really into Lil Wayne’s record label, YMCMB. So much so that for his latest haircut he got the letters (YMCMB) , which stand for ‘Young. Money. Cash. Money. Billionaires.’ shaved into his head. The label is an imprint of Cash Money records, and we can only assume that since he was born in Vancouver, he is...
I would have expected this from a NBA or NFL player, not a hockey player, but you should never judge a book by its cover. For those who don’t know YMCMB stands for it is.
Young Money Cash Money Billionaires
The two records labels owned by Birdman and Lil Wayne. The label of rappers Drake and Nicki Minaj among others.
Kane doesn’t give a full reason on what inspired him to get...
They may be the Winnipeg Jets now but, to us at least, they'll always be the Zombie Thrashers.
And a few older ones....
This concludes today's journalism.
Great atomsphere in Winnipeg, the Jets used it to help rally from an early 2-0 hole.
Crosby scored the Pens only goals, the Pens drop to 2-2 on the season.
Overall it was a fun game to watch, Evander Kane and his stupid haircut took over the game.
Full cap later on.

Winnipeg, Manitoba. It's cold there. It's also in Canada. We all know that. Apparently, some Winnipeg fans thought that those two things were enough to make the Atlanta Thrashers a competitive hockey team. So did team management.

Things started out so well for the Pens. Crosby scored the first two goals of the game. Ondrej Pavelec was still in net. It looked liked an easy W.
Only problem was the Penguins couldn't do anything for the next 40+ minutes after Crosby's second goal. Winnipeg adjusted to the Pens' style and got them rattled. They waited for the Pens to make some mistakes...
