Classic misinformation in the internet era.
I received an email from a source in Canada this morning saying he had heard rumors of a deal sending Senators' defenseman Brian Lee to the Blackhawks. And, in fact, the possibility of such a deal was apparently discussed this morning in the Canadian media.
There were no internet reports as such, but lo and behold, a 27 year old American defensema...

Rumor out of Canada this morning that the Blackhawks have acquired or are about to acquire Senators defenseman Brian Lee. I can find nothing concrete on it one way or the other at this point.
At least two media outlets (ESPN Sportsnet) now has Lee listed as Hawks property.
