In a very unsurprising event for the Penguins they have another injury to another one of their players. Jordan Staal did not make the trip with the team to Toronto and will not be playing tonight. Coach Dan Bylsma said that he has a lower body injury and is currently day-to-day. It’s generally believed that it’s nothing serious by various news outlets and shouldn’t keep him out long term. Injuries have become a pretty common thing for the Penguins this year already but they have managed to still be 8-2-2 to start the season and lead the NHL in points with a grueling opening schedule. Tonight they play the Toronto Maple Leafs who are 6-2-1 so far this season. Brent Johnson will be in the net tonight for the Pens.

Unsustainable - Maple Leafs 4, Penguins 3
So what happened?
The Leafs scored first, and that was essentially the death knell. Every time the Pens tied the score, the Leafs scored again to retake the lead (twice they did it inside of two minutes later). The inability to hold the momentum after scoring was the most disappointing thing from the game.
The Pens also missed Jordan Staal, as their penalty kill allowed goals...
Toronto Maple Leafs Edge out the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3
On Saturday, October the 29th, the Toronto Maple Leafs faced the Pittsburgh Penguins who are the current league leader in point with 18. Before the game started I thought this was a even match up as both team started their back up goalie and the Penguins did not have Jordan Staal and Sidney Crosby.
This first period started off slow in my opinion. There were 11 shots by Pittsburgh...
