Jordin Tootoo of the Nashville Predators caught a high stick to the face during period one of their game against the Flames last night. If you watch hockey you know they do interviews between periods with the players. Tootoo got called in for the interview to talk about why he doesn't retaliate after high hits by fighting, and his game plan for the remainder of the game. During the interview his nose started bleeding which lead to the interview ending a little early. Nothing to grotesque here, just something out of the ordinary that we don't get to see everyday. Bobby Ryan being shopped? Paging David Poile…
When it was first reported (by the Orange Country Register) that the Anaheim Ducks were “possibly shopping a top player,” several Preds bloggers got into some friendly banter about what it would take to bring Bobby Ryan to Music City.
Then, tonight, when Rogers Sportsnet’s Darren Millard tweeted that it was, in fact, Ryan who was being shopped, it started to put...

Predators players warm up by...playing wiffleball?
The Nashville Predators certainly had a unique way of warming up for their game against the Calgary Flames on Tuesday, organizing a makeshift game of wiffleball (with hockey equipment, of course) in the locker room before the game.
Always entertaining to see this side of athletes, having some fun in unique ways in their down time. The wiffleball practice didn't seem to help...
Paul McCann: Last NIght / Game Night
The message was pretty simple, get back to Predator hockey. Terry Crisp repeatedly used one word in his pregame analysis, shoot. It appeared, for one night, the team listened. Rarely has Nashville outshot an opponent this season, that happened last night. Nashville held an opponent under 20 shots for the first time this season as Edmonton only mustered 18 shots on Anders Lindback...
