Ontario Hockey League Plymouth Whalers 3, Guelph Storm 2 – FINAL OT The Whalers defeated the Storm 3-2 Saturday night on a Connor Carrick goal in the overtime period from Compuware Arena in Plymouth. The Whalers held the advantage in shots 29-27 and where 1 for 2 on the power play.  Alex Nedeljkovic made 25 saves on 27 shots in the win. Saginaw Spirit 6, Owen Sound Attack 2 – FINAL Saginaw used a two goal output in each of the three periods en rout to a 6-2 win over the Owen Sound Attack Saturday night from the Dow Event Center in Saginaw. Justin Kea had two goals in the win while Nikita Serebryakov made 31 saves in the win. Total shots were 35-33 in favor of Saginaw. On the power play Owen Sound was 1 for 7 while Saginaw was 1 for 6.
