Some one better put apply heat on Dustin Byfuglien as Evander Kane is more than willing to step up and take lead role when the spotlight is on a teammate. Kane had two goals tonight both of them from wicked shots but it's how he worked to position which is what should be noted.
Kane has a quick release wrist shot with impressive velocity, it flies hard but it flies high....

It was another lackluster loss last night in Winnipeg. Alexander Semin and the Capitals got off to a hot start with an early goal for a 1-0 lead less than 5 minutes into the game.
